This campaign was created for the citizens of Washington State while lobbying to make medicinal usage of marijuana legal. In an attempt to overturn a federal law at the state level, grass-root events where necessary state-wide. These event and marketing materials were designed to communicate the health and medical attributes of a drug that has been commonly associated with negative qualities. While debunking the stereotype, it was important to focus on health and medicine — rather than typical marijuana symbolism. As a result of numerous community efforts, Initiative 692 was made a state law by an overwhelming majority.
